Place is a fast-growing venture-backed software company that natively combines revenue management with financial forecasting and planning. The complete solution joins together the flexibility and automation of revenue management features with the financial forecasting, cash management, human capital management, and scenario modeling that businesses require to stay competitive and be more agile in their decision-making. 

We are expanding our marketing team and looking for a talented, experienced marketer who will translate business and financial information into compelling content that will be used in a variety of customer-facing areas. This will include both short and long-form content that is designed to engage, nurture and convince buyers.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the VP, Marketing to craft Place’s content strategy to align with our ICP buyer’s journey from prospect to customer
  • Develop, produce, and manage the entire content creation process to produce high-quality content with ICP problems to be solved in mind
  • Cultivate a diverse portfolio of assets ensuring a consistent brand voice and message
  • Manage vendor, agency, and freelancer relationships to help produce and promote high-quality content for website, blogs, videos, podcast, social media posts/campaigns, email campaigns, e-books, whitepapers, sales materials, etc. 
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, client success, and senior leadership to create & promote produced content
  • Help create and contribute to a marketing content calendar, allocating resources, determining targets and timelines
  • Share in setting and achieving marketing performance goals and objectives
  • Develop a comprehensive database of reference customers and success stories that can be used to directly support sales and marketing activities, PR, thought leadership, analyst relations, and strategic partnerships
  • Manage a spectrum of marketing initiatives as needed, including meetups, community forums, advisory boards, referral programs, etc. with a keen focus on driving retention, growth and referrals.


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of content/community marketing experience
  • Proven curiosity for quantitative data analysis for measuring program effectiveness
  • Experience in end-to-end webinar, focus group, and user group management
  • Experience with event management technologies
  • Experience with marketing automation technologies (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, etc)
  • B2B / SaaS experience (Finance experience a plus
