We are expanding our marketing team and looking for a talented, experienced marketer who will translate business and financial information into compelling content that will be used in a variety of customer-facing areas. This will include both short and long-form content that is designed to engage, nurture and convince buyers.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the VP, Marketing to craft Place’s content strategy to align with our ICP buyer’s journey from prospect to customer
  • Develop, produce, and manage the entire content creation process to produce high-quality content with ICP problems to be solved in mind
  • Cultivate a diverse portfolio of assets ensuring a consistent brand voice and message
  • Manage vendor, agency, and freelancer relationships to help produce and promote high-quality content for website, blogs, videos, podcast, social media posts/campaigns, email campaigns, e-books, whitepapers, sales materials, etc. 
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, client success, and senior leadership to create & promote produced content
  • Help create and contribute to a marketing content calendar, allocating resources, determining targets and timelines
  • Share in setting and achieving marketing performance goals and objectives
  • Develop a comprehensive database of reference customers and success stories that can be used to directly support sales and marketing activities, PR, thought leadership, analyst relations, and strategic partnerships
  • Manage a spectrum of marketing initiatives as needed, including meetups, community forums, advisory boards, referral programs, etc. with a keen focus on driving retention, growth and referrals.


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of content/community marketing experience
  • Proven curiosity for quantitative data analysis for measuring program effectiveness
  • Experience in end-to-end webinar, focus group, and user group management
  • Experience with event management technologies
  • Experience with marketing automation technologies (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, etc)
  • B2B / SaaS experience (Finance experience a plus

  • Monitor competitors, industry trends, and research reports and identify themes to influence content creation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism or related field

Place is hiring a Marketing Specialist to join us in our Austin offices or remote (US-based). The role will report directly to the VP Marketing and play an integral role in the strategy and execution of critical marketing initiatives.

This role is a great fit for anyone who wants to develop their marketing skillset across a wide range of disciplines, including SEO, SEM, paid social, content marketing, design, and much more. Our marketing team is made up of generalists who collaborate with other departments and outside agencies to accomplish our objectives and grow demand.

You will have a hand in the strategy and execution of projects across many disciplines. You won’t be expected to be an expert in everything, but you will be expected to take a proactive approach to your development as a marketer, honing the skills needed to accomplish wide-ranging objectives.

Your background:

  • 2+ years of marketing experience (SaaS and/or FinTech preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing marketing campaigns (and owning the results)
  • Experience with Salesforce/Pardot strongly preferred
  • Highly coachable with a growth mindset

Customer Success Manager

Place is a venture-backed software company that natively combines revenue management with financial forecasting and planning. We are expanding our Customer Success team and looking for an experienced Customer Success Manager to build strong and lasting relationships with their book of business.

We are looking for an individual who has a passion for putting the customer first to deliver the best possible customer experience.

You will manage a portfolio of accounts and serve as the point of contact for each. You will ensure that each and every customer and user of our technology is engaged with Place’s products and services, by actively working closely with end-users to train, identify, understand, and meet their specific needs and pain points and to drive customer adoption forward.

This role will report to our VP, Operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own overall relationship with assigned customers, including adoption, ensuring retention, and maximizing satisfaction.
  • Establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each assigned customer and drive the continued value of our products and services.
  • Proactively mitigate and manage critical escalations and at-risk accounts; communicate effectively and appropriately with internal and external leaders and executives
  • Collect data, interpret data, and present insights for adoption and growth.
  • Become a Place product champion and use this knowledge to effectively guide customers toward success by achieving their key business outcomes.
  • Guide customers through the renewal and upsell process.
  • Gather referrals and product feedback, liaising with sales & product teams to drive growth & improvement across the organization.

Required Skills and Responsibilities:

  • 2-7 years of professional experience working in financial consulting, FP&A, accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer success role at a software company.
  • Demonstrated track record as a trusted business partner (internal and external) with the ability to effectively communicate and lead business and financial decision-making with key leaders
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Sharp communication skills including excellence in writing and presenting
  • Ability to think strategically, but also focus on tactical and operational issues
  • Deep appreciation and comfort with analytical rigor and clarity
  • Experience working in a start-up environment is a plus
  • Experience with SaaS business models is a plus
  • Experience with the Salesforce platform is a plus
  • Professional experience working in financial consulting, FP&A, and accounting, is a plus
