Igniting revenue growth, managing cash flow, and raising equity during the rise of B2B SaaS are what led our co-founders, Brandon and Kabe, to a successful exit from their last venture. Before its acquisition in 2018, the two led Talent Rover, an operating system for global staffing and recruitment firms that was exclusively available on the Salesforce Platform.
Brandon, with Talent Rover’s finance and revenue teams, constantly struggled to find tools flexible enough to handle cash management and corporate forecasting while the business expanded rapidly across the world. After exhausting their search for corporate forecasting systems made for early-stage B2B SaaS, they had no other choice but to run forecasts, metrics, and decision-making from a massive Excel workbook they lovingly titled, “The Beast.”
After Talent Rover’s long road and exciting acquisition, Brandon and Kabe knew the market gap they identified was a problem for thousands of other B2B SaaS businesses. So they set off on a mission to help other B2B SaaS leaders solve the problems they experienced so acutely every day: growing revenue and company valuations without running out of funds.
After launching exclusively on the Salesforce AppExchange in 2019, Place is used by dozens of B2B SaaS companies to pursue their own growth journeys more profitably.
